Pictures

I have finally started to understand Second Life and how to use it. Which means i have finally figured out how to use the camera.

Lovelace is a very serene place. There are no buildings. Just prayer places and signs advertising religion. There is even a sign that takes you to a place that tells your religion after a few short questions.

But the few structures that are on the island are really nice and quaint.

The Island of Lovelace

After exploring the Island of Lovelace I have come to the conclusion that it is a place of worship. It advertises different churches, the primary one being the Unitarian Universalist. They have a Grand Sanctuary with what look like prayer mats, a piano, and different fire pits. They also have collection plates to donate money to the church, and offer services two days a week. After going to the Island for a few days, I finally ran into another person. They informed me that the UU's are a religion without dogmas. When i asked if she has ever been to a service, she said that she has been trying and that they have all been canceled. She also said that in the six months she has been coming to Lovelace, she has not seen that many other people.

It appears to be an interesting island, but no one ever goes to it. I think that I will try to go to one of their services, and hopefully I will have more luck then the person I was talking to.
